 इंटरनेट सूचना तकनीक की सबसे आधुनिक प्रणाली है। इंटरनेट को आप विभिन्न कंप्यूटर नेटवर्को का एक विश्व स्तरीय समूह (नेटवर्क) कह सकते है। ... इंटरनेट किसी एक कंपनी या सरकार के अधीन नही होता है, अपितु इसमें बहुत से सर्वर (Server) जुड़े हैं, जो अलग अलग संस्‍थाओं या प्रायवेट कंप‍नीयों के होते हैं।

Types of Connectivity:-


Mobile Internet : Telephone service provider (TSP ) इंटरनेट तक पहुंचने के लिए इंटरनेट प्लान देता है।  जो कि उपयोगकर्ता को अपने उपयोग के अनुसार खरीदना पड़ता है।  इंटरनेट को स्पीड उपयोग में लिए जा रहे सिस्टम के ऊपर निर्भर करता है।  अभी यह कम से कम 2G  तथा अधिकतम 4G की स्पीड दे सकता है। 


Telephone Line  (DSL) : Digital Subscriber Line एक प्रकार का broadband connection है। जो साधारण टेलीफोन लाइन में भी इंटरनेट कनेक्शन उपलब्ध कराता है।  यह Dial -up connection से अधिक तेज गति से चलता है। 


Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) : यह फ़ोन लाइन द्वारा कनेक्शन स्थापित करता है। जो Analog signals के स्थान पर Digital signals ले जाता है।


Wireless Internet Connections : इस प्रकार का कनेक्शन रेडियो frequency band का उपयोग करते हुए इंटरनेट उपलब्ध करता है। जो High स्पीड चलता है।  Wireless इंटरनेट के द्वारा व्यक्ति कही से भी इंटरनेट की पहुँच कर सकता है। केवल शर्त यह है कि व्यक्ति उसकी नेटवर्क क्षेत्र में हो।

INTERNET SERVICES


Internet असल में एक global wide area network होता है जो की दुनिया भर के Computer systems को आपस में connect करता है. इसमें बहुत से high-bandwidth data lines होते हैं जो की Internet का “backbone” कहलाते हैं. ये lines को connect किया जाता है major Internet hubs के साथ जो की data को distribute करते हैं दुसरे locations को, जैसे की web servers और ISPs. जिस माध्यम से हम इंटरनेट से कनेक्ट होते हैं उसे हम internet service कहते हैं।


SEARCH ENGINE


सर्च इंजन एक ऐसा प्रोग्राम है जो किसी भी डेटाबेस में उन जानकारियों को पहचानता और ढूंढता है जो यूजर द्वारा डाले हुए कीवर्ड के अनुसार या फिर उससे जुड़े हुए होते हैं. सर्च इंजन का उपयोग वर्ल्ड वाइड वेब पर वेबसाइटों को ढूंढने के लिए किया जाता है.


WEB SERVERS


एक कम्‍प्‍यूटर जो web page को भेजता (deliver) है, वेब सर्वर (Web Server) कहलाता है। प्रत्‍येक वेब सर्वर का एक IP एड्रेस होता है तथा एक डॉमेन नेम होता है। 


INTERNET PROTOCOL


इंटरनेट तथा अन्य नेटवर्क पर एक कम्प्यूटर से दूसरे कम्प्यूटर में डेटा का आदान-प्रदान करने हेतु “नियमों का समूह” इंटरनेट प्रोटोकॉल कहलाता हैं. 


EMAIL


ईमेल या इलॅक्ट्रॉनिक मेल (हिन्दी: विपत्र), (अंग्रेज़ी: E-mail / Electronic mail) एक इंटरनेट के माध्यम किसी कम्प्युटर या अन्य उपकरण से पत्र भेजने का एक तरीका है। ... आमतौर इंटरनेट पर कई मुफ्त ईमेल सेवायें उपलब्ध हैं और जिस प्रकार एक ईमेल को कंप्यूटर से भेजा जाता है उसी प्रकार से एक ईमेल को स्मार्टफ़ोन से भी भेजा जा सकता है।

Is claims responsibility for Niger attack which killed 71

NIAMEY, Dec 13 (AFP) The Islamic state group has claimed responsibility for an attack on an Army camp in Niger which left 71 military personnel dead, the SITE Intelligence group said on Thursday.    Hundreds of jihadists attacked the camp, near the border with Mali with shells and mortars on Tuesday, killed 71, injuring 122 and leaving other missing' according to the Defence Ministry.
