On taking log of Arrehenius equation
In K=In A-Ea/RT
Or log k=log A-Ea/2.303RT
Or log k=logA-Ea/2.303R×1/T
A straight line is obtained on plotting a graph between log K and 1/T Whose slope is found to be -Ea/2.303k
Application
(1) Activation energy may be determine by this equation.
(2) Rate constant may be determined by change in temperature
(3) Relation in Activation energy and rate constant may be found
